I'm a Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo finishing my last year.

Most recently, I was a software engineering intern at Cockroach Labs where I worked on improving CockroachDB's distributed SQL cost-based optimizer by supporting the automatic collection of partial table statistics.

I was previously a backend engineering intern at Faire where I worked on shopping cart APIs at massive scale and inventory syncing integrations with Shopify & Square used by hundreds of thousands of independent retailers.

I've built software for Altis Labs, where I built data pipelines and image annotation tools supporting outcome prediction neural networks for cancer patients. I've also interned as a Software Engineer at PointClickCare and a Full Stack Developer at Remitbee International Money Transfer. In my previous roles, I've written code to solve a range of problems including automating referral fraud detection, securing communication within distributed systems, and building medication order management software for seniors.
